How it works
When you paste a product link, we fetch that page and look for the availability data stores publish for Google Shopping. It's standardized data, which lets us work on almost any store with no setup.
If we can't find it, we fall back to simpler signals โ a buy button, for instance โ and ask you whether the product is available right now, to get the starting point right.
How often we check
On the free plan, every minute. On paid plans, as fast as each store allows safely โ without risking a block. If several people watch the same product, we make a single check for all of them โ it's better for the store and lets us keep prices low.
When you get notified
Only on the transition from out of stock to available. You won't get repeat alerts while the product stays available.
What can go wrong
Some large stores block automated checks and we can't follow them. Others change their page structure without notice. When we stop being able to read a product, we tell you instead of leaving you waiting for an alert that will never come.
